Raise money for St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation

St. Joe’s looks forward to returning to the Around the Bay Road Race on March 24, 2024. This year we celebrate our 20th Anniversary as charity partner, and through this event we have raised more than $5 million to support enhanced patient care and innovative research at our Hospital.

Where Funds Raised Will Go at St. Joe’s:

When emergencies happen, every second counts. That’s why our Emergency Room (ER) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. St. Joe’s is home to the busiest ER in the city caring for than 60,000 patients annually – which equates to 167 visits every, single day. But after 20+ years, our current ER footprint is too small to keep pace with the growing demand for urgent care. To continue caring for our community, we need larger waiting rooms, more patient care bays, and a triage area that will better protect the privacy of our patients. Funds raised through the 2024 Bay Race will help construct a new ER at St. Joe’s Charlton Campus so that when emergencies happen, Hamilton can count on St. Joe’s.
