Alzheimer Society of Toronto

At the Alzheimer Society of Toronto (AST), we strive to make sure that no one has to feel alone in their journey living with dementia. Since 1981, we have been delivering free programs, education, healthcare navigation, and counselling for individuals living with dementia and their families and care partners. Currently, one in three adults in Ontario has a close family member living with dementia and the need for our services continues to grow. Whether directly or indirectly, we are all affected. All of AST’s programs and services are offered at no cost to individuals living with dementia and their care partners. 

How your donation contributes:

$100 can provide an individual living with dementia a personalized music player with a playlist made just for them. 
$400 covers the cost of specialized dementia training for one PSW, who on average care for between 5 – 12 individuals 
$2,100 provides an 8-week art series program designed for people living with mild to moderate dementia or cognitive impairments, and their care partners.
