Volunteer
Do you care about the environment and want to play a role in your local community? Support a local nonprofit and mingle with other like-minded participants and organizations at the 2nd Annual Earth Day 5K.
The event will take place at The Outpost, right beside Carrier Park in Asheville, NC. Volunteers will receive morning snacks and coffee, a free event t-shirt subject to availability, and official volunteer hours upon request. If your position allows, you may also be able to join in the race for free.
Volunteer hours vary but most shifts will be 3-4 hours long with call times beginning at 7:30 am. For questions about specific positions, email earthday5k@greenbuilt.org. Volunteers under 18 require a parent/guardian to assist.
