This year, we’re offering four exciting route options:
The Windsor Loop [LINK]

Route connects the Gordie Howe International Bridge (connecting Ontario to Michigan, opening to cyclists Q4-2025), the Town of Essex and Point Pelee National Park (Canada's southernmost point on the mainland). The Classic EC Way 100-Mile Loop [LINK]
Our signature ride—also available in paved or gravel variations via Randonneurs Ontario - EC Way Road or EC Way Gravel variations. The Essex-Kent Grand Tour "EKG 300k" [LINK]
A full-day epic through both Essex and Kent Counties—300 kilometres of wide-open adventure.
💡 Tip: “Great Destinations along the ECW100” is a great resource for planning your stops and discovering must-see locations along the way.
BE PREPARED
These are unmarked, long-distance routes—self-navigation is essential.
Follow your map or GPS closely.
Bring a plan for flats, breakdowns, and unexpected detours.
Tell someone your route and estimated return time.
🔧 This is not a guided tour or sanctioned event. It’s a self-supported personal challenge, open to riders year-round.
What to Expect on the Ride
The routes are flat, scenic, and full of great stops—but don’t be fooled:
Flat means you pedal every inch—there’s no coasting.
Some sections are wide open: wind can be your best friend... or your worst enemy.
Pro tip: Loop in the direction that gets you a tailwind finish for a strong close.
