Raise money for Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry
Founded in 1969, the mission of Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry (LMM) is to challenge systemic injustices faced by those who are oppressed, forgotten, and hurting by providing responsive solutions, advocacy, and hope. Each year, LMM serves over 4,500 people in the areas of Housing & Shelter, Workforce Development, Adult Guardianship, and providing Youth Resiliency Services.
Proceeds from LMM’s partnership with the Cleveland Marathon will benefit our Youth Resiliency Services program. Each year, more than 500 youth and young adults in Cuyahoga County seek emergency shelter and housing services. LMM has served youth and young adults in crisis for more than 30 years. We are one of the only providers of emergency shelter for youth in Cuyahoga County, a trusted partner of the Office of Homeless Services Youth Homelessness Demonstration Project and preparing to launch the first Youth Drop In Center in Northeast Ohio.
Your support is vital to our ability to meet the needs of young people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Thank you for choosing LMM as your CLE Marathon charity of choice!
