- Can I get a refund for my Muskoka Marathon registration?
- Refunds are only available if you purchased Race Roster's Refund Protection Program at checkout. Refunds are managed entirely by Race Roster, not the Muskoka Marathon, and are subject to Race Roster’s policies. The Muskoka Marathon does not provide refunds under any circumstances, so please consider adding the Refund Protection option during registration if you’d like the flexibility to receive a refund.
- What's the transfer policy?
- You may transfer your registration to another person for a $9.99 fee.
- You may transfer to a different race distance by paying the fee difference and the $1.95 race roster fee.
- What's the deferral policy?
- We offer a one-time partial deferral for 2025 registrations. If you defer, you’ll receive a 50% discount on your 2026 registration, with the remaining balance due at checkout.
- A 2025 deferral must be used in 2026 and cannot be carried forward.
- Deferrals are one-time only and cannot be deferred again.
- No deferrals after September 15, 2025, for any reason.

- How will the race proceed safely? We are working on numerous logistical strategies that will allow us to host a great race while keeping everyone safe. As we approach race day, communication will increase on how we plan to manage vehicles, racers, spectators, etc.
- Will there be washrooms? There will be washrooms on-site at the start/finish line, at each hydration station, and at the turnaround for the Marathon races.
What is the cut-off time for the Marathon course? Muskoka Marathoners must pass the Wellington Street Bridge for the second time before 1:00 PM, as both lanes will reopen to traffic at this time. Under our partial road closure agreement with the District of Muskoka, this allows approximately 5.5 hours to reach the 38 km mark.
- Will there be hydration stations? There will be hydration stations every 2.5 km offering water and sports drinks.
- When/where is race-kit pick-up?
- Race kits will be available for pick up on Saturday, October 4 from 9 am to 5 pm at Santa's Village.
- You can send a family or friend to pick up your race kit, just ensure they have your Race Roster registration info.
- Where is the starting line? We start and finish at Santa's Village, Bracebridge: 1624 Golden Beach Rd. With the partial road closure, access to Santa's Village must be via HWY 118 to Golden Beach Rd.
- Is there parking on-site? Yes, at Santa's Village.
- Where can spectators view the race? The best spots to watch the 5k/10k races are at the start/finish line. For the longer races, the start/finish is a great spot to watch, or you can find a spot along the course route: Annie Williams Park, 50 Santa's Village Rd or James W Kerr Park, 130 Beaumont Dr. are both parks along the race route with parking, washrooms, and other activities. Both parks are accessible to one-way traffic throughout the race, so in and out movement will be accommodated.
- Kids Fun Run Details/Start Time: 9:00 am. All participants will gather at the go-cart track and be divided into age-appropriate heats. All kids will get a race bib and medallion. All registered fun runners also get free access to Santa's Village on October 5, 2025. Every participating child will be entered into a draw to win a 2026 Santa's Village standard season pass!
- Will headphones be permitted? Yes, but we ask that you be mindful of the racers around you if you wear them.
- Will there be a bag drop? Yes, we will have a bag drop available for free. Bag drop will be at the registration tent on the morning of the event.
