Raise money for The Wee Laundrette
The purpose of The Wee Laundrette, is the provide an economical option to the Perth, Ontario and area community, for the basic need of clothes washing -by having the washers available for free. (Note: The charity status is in application process, and expected completion before race day. The Laundromat is located at 72 Foster street Perth, and has 8 washers, and 4 gas dryers. It is in operation.) The fund raising goal of $3,000 will cover the operation costs for two months of free wash charity operation. Some sponsors for remaining months to cover yearly operation have been identified, with others being confirmed later. The charity operation will begin in July 2025. (The month of December 2024 was already run as a free washer trial setting with great success).
This is a new novel concept ... a sort of "Foodbank" of laundromats.
