Donate to Girls on the Run Greater Boston

Girls on the Run is more than a running program. Through GOTR's program, trained coaches implement the research-based curriculum that builds lifelong healthy habits. Girls learn the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of physical activity, as well as tools for navigating the challenges of adolescence. Each season concludes with a 5K event where the girls run at their own pace, giving them a sense of achievement and a framework for setting and achieving life goals.

Through GOTR's program, trained coaches implement the research-based curriculum that builds lifelong healthy habits. Girls learn the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of strength and physical activity, as well as tools for navigating the challenges of adolescence. Each season concludes with a celebratory 5K event where the girls complete 3.1 miles at their own pace, giving them a tangible sense of achievement and a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
