Our story…
The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund helps deserving young men and women who have worked at Massachusetts golf courses pursue their dream of a college education.
We award need-based college scholarships that are renewable for up to four years, with recipients receiving an average of $30,000—and in some cases, up to $80,000.
Since 1949, The Ouimet Fund has awarded more than $53 million in scholarships to over 7,000 students. Today’s Ouimet Scholars continue to excel, graduating at a 91% rate and maintaining an average GPA of 3.4.
As the largest independent scholarship organization in New England, The Fund honors the legacy of Francis Ouimet by continuing the tradition of educational opportunity he cherished.
