Kenneth Gordon Maplewood is a K-12 independent school in North Vancouver that delivers an educational experience built around the individual. Our mission is to empower diverse thinkers, build confidence and capability, and help our students realize their dreams.

As students experience success and feel supported self-efficacy increases, confidence is demonstrated, and students learn to take the necessary risks that drive them to meet their full potential. Our student-centered approach integrates multisensory opportunities, Orton-Gillingham methodology, 1:1 tutoring, co-taught classrooms, and social development to support learners.

KGMS is a designated Ministry of Education Special Education school. We are located in North Vancouver, BC at 420 Seymour River Pl. V7H 1S8 and our registered charity number is 11925-4555 RR0001.
