Mentor North

Raise money for Mentor North

Mentor North's mission is to celebrate youth and support their families through one-on-one, community based mentoring. Our programs match Twin Ports youth between the ages of 7 and 17 with carefully screened and trained volunteers based on each individual youth's interests and goals. Our programming also promotes community engagement, fostering new connections across neighborhoods, generations and experiences!

Youth share that time spent with their mentors helps them feel calmer, gives them a chance to try new things, and boosts their confidence. Mentors share that they benefit from the relationship, too, through having new experiences, being able to play again, challenging themselves, and making a difference in a young person's life. Mentoring is one of the most effective ways to help young people tap into all of their unique strengths so that both they and their communities can thrive! Our goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive mentoring community.

One Run, Two Wins!

Every mile our runners complete helps Mentor North go the distance for youth in Duluth and Superior. By donating, you’re fueling one-on-one mentorship that connects up to 200 young people each year with meaningful experiences and caring adult mentors. Together with our community, we’re building confidence, resilience, and belonging for youth, mentors, and families across the Twin Ports. Your support ensures more kids can experience the life-changing power of mentorship; thank you for joining us on this journey!
