Back for the seventh year, Mile in My Shoes is the official charity partner of the 2026 City Of Lakes Half Marathon! FundRacers tap into their circles to raise critical funds for MiMS while training for a race. Because MiMS is a 501(c)3 organization that relies solely on donations, every FundRacer plays a crucial role in allowing MiMS to bring running to more people experiencing homelessness.

Race Day Information

Race Date: Sunday, September 13

Start Location: Beard's Plaisance, Lake Harriet Parkway, Minneapolis

Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

Gear Drop: BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) and write your bib number on it! Look for the gear drop near the Run Minnesota tent. We'll deliver it to the finish area for you to retrieve after the race.

Parking: Plan ahead – parking is very limited, so please arrive early. The Parkway will be closed down after 7:15 a.m. It is best to park in the neighborhoods west of Lake Harriet.
