ALS is a progressive and ultimately fatal neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscles. Over time, people living with ALS can lose the ability to move, speak, swallow, and breathe independently.
ALS has turned our life upside down and there is currently no cure. We refuse to give up hope and will continue fighting for more research.
