Description
Team MAF is running to support families affected by maternal alloimmunization and Hemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn.
Maternal alloimmunization, or MAllo, is a high-risk pregnancy condition that can cause a baby to become severely anemic before or after birth. HDFN can lead to serious complications, NICU stays, blood transfusions and, in the most severe cases, loss.
The Maternal Alloimmunization Foundation is a patient-led nonprofit working to support families, improve education, raise awareness and advocate for better care for babies at risk of HDFN.
Every donation helps us provide resources, send care packages, support families through diagnosis and recovery and continue building a stronger voice for the MAllo and HDFN community.
