Families who face a medical crisis often experience an overwhelming financial burden as well. Your donation eases this stress because it helps provide an affordable and supportive housing option through our Ronald McDonald Houses in Boston, MA and in Providence, RI. Hospital co-payments, time off from work and meals away from home all add to increased expenses for families during an already challenging time Together, we can reduce the stress associated with financial strain so families can focus on the health of their children. By staying at one of our Ronald McDonald Houses in Boston or Providence, parents can be more rested and active in their child’s treatment and recovery; and research shows this greatly improves medical recovery outcomes. Our family-centered care programs such as Meals With Love, Pet-therapy Visits, Non-Clinical Art Therapy, Sibling Programs, and our holistic hospitality approach all focus on helping the entire family feel supported during their stay; and your financial contribution helps to make all of this possible.

The Ronald McDonald House New England Team is back again this year to run the historic Falmouth Road Race! Last year, our incredible runners and their generous supporters helped provide over 1,100 nights of housing, comfort and support at our Ronald McDonald Houses in Providence and Boston. We’re only asking for two things this running season: your support and a sunny race day! 

With every stride we take, we are not just covering miles, we are helping provide a home away from home. On August 16, 2026 Team Ronald McDonald House New England will hit the pavement to race the historic 7 mile course, while raising critical funds to support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence and the Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor.

This year Team Ronald McDonald House New England will work together to provide over 1,000 nights of housing, comfort and support for families of critically ill children. Together, we can reduce the stress associated with financial strain so families can focus on the health of their children. Ronald McDonald House is an invaluable lifeline for these families, offering them a comfortable place to stay, warm meals, and unwavering support during incredibly difficult times. But none of this would be possible without the support of compassionate individuals like you.
