Steps for Kids 2026

On May 3, 2026, lace up your shoes, gather your friends and family, and join Starling’s (formerly Lutherwood) Steps for Kids as we walk together to support children and youth facing mental health challenges across Waterloo Region.

Across our community, more young people than ever are struggling. Rates of moderate‑to‑serious depression and anxiety remain alarmingly high, and the need for immediate, accessible mental health care continues to grow. At Starling Community Services, we’re committed to ensuring every child and youth can receive the support they need, when they need it, to build bright, hopeful, resilient futures.
