Simple everyday tasks like walking, speaking, breathing, getting dressed or lifting a cup can gradually become more difficult. Many people rely on mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs, daily support and ongoing care, and currently there is no cure.
For nearly 60 years, Neuromuscular WA has stood beside individuals and families through every stage of their journey. Through services including advocacy, equipment support, NDIS assistance, education, counselling and social programs, the organisation helps people feel supported, connected and less alone while navigating the challenges that come with a neuromuscular condition.
