Almost a year ago, I lost my baby Leonardo when I was eight months pregnant.

Nothing prepares you for going to the hospital with your baby and leaving without him. I remember walking out, hearing other babies in the rooms around me, and knowing that I was going home with empty arms.

That day, With Love for Michael gave me a memory box for Leo. It had little things to remember him by and, at a moment when I felt like I was leaving without anything, I at least had something in my hands that belonged to his story.

This September, Leo would be turning one. And although I can't celebrate him the way I wish I could, I can do something in his name.

That's why we created Team Leonardo.

We are walking and raising funds for the organization that was there for me, so they can continue being there for other moms and families who unfortunately have to experience this kind of loss.
