Sinister 7 Ultra is open to solo runners or teams of up to seven, and racers have 30 hours to complete the grueling event. The course is split into seven stages, each featuring a geographic and historic highlight of the area. The race's name is inspired by the treacherous Seven Sisters Mountain that looms over much of the course.
We have four distance options in the race: the 100-mile, the 50-miler (half of leg 4, + legs 5 through 7), the 50k (half of leg 1, half of leg 2, and leg 3), and the Half Marathon (half of leg 1, half of leg 2).

Athletics Canada Championships
For 2027 and 2028, the 50k is the Athletics Canada Short Trail Championship race, and the 50-miler is the Athletics Canada Long Trail Championship race.
Athletics Canada members can add themselves to the championship event through the event form. You can also buy your membership later and still be added to the roster.
