11th Annual [Virtual] Pink Pumpkin Run

The proceeds from the Pink Pumpkin events will be donated to cancer care service programs at Marshall Medical Centers. The main beneficiary of the Pink Pumpkin proceeds will be the Mammography Assistance Program (MAP) at Marshall Medical Centers North and South. Through the funds provided from MAP, women who cannot afford a yearly mammogram are offered assistance. Often the concern over the loss of income because of the time away from work or the lack of transportation or gas money prevent women from having this potentially life-saving test performed on an annual basis. Through MAP we have the ability to overcome these obstacles for many women. We also run in honor and memory of loved ones who have fought the battle with cancer.

This year, EVERYONE who participates will get a medal along with their swag bag and t-shirt (which will be mailed to your provided address.) Top finisher awards will also be given in each age category and announced live on our Facebook page on October 30!

Teams provide an awesome opportunity to participate in the Pink Pumpkin Run! Although we can't come together on race day, you can still gather your family and friends to participate in someone's honor or memory. There will still be prizes for the team who raises the most money by October 28 and other fun awards along the way! Simply create or find the team you'd like to join during the registration process.

Each year hundreds of women are able to receive free mammogram screenings through the Mammography Assistance Program because of people like you. Likewise, local cancer patients are given the care they deserve at the Marshall Cancer Care Center to make it through a tough diagnosis. With your help, we can make a BIG difference in the lives of women and cancer patients in our community.
