Run Australia 2021 Virtual Challenge
Saturday 16 January - Sunday 28 March, 2021
For the first time in history, Australia’s largest and most prestigious events from each state and territory are coming together to bring you Run Australia 2021 - the biggest virtual challenge on the market.
What better way to run into 2021 and realise your New Years resolution than by taking on some of Australia’s favourite and most iconic events, as part of the one virtual challenge. You decide where the challenge takes you - kicking off from the 16th January you will have until the 28th March to make your way around Australia and complete your challenge. Once you have completed your challenge, your well earned medal, commissioned by Indigenous Marathon Project graduate and artist Shane Cook, will be posted to you.
Each participant who completes their challenge will receive:
- Unique Run Australia 2021 Medal
- Downloadable Race Bib
- Finishers Certificate for each race
- 20% entry discount to the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival, Great Ocean Road Running Festival, Hobart Run the Bridge, Westpac City 2 Bay Fun Run, Fremantle Running Festival & NT City 2 Surf
- Entry to go in the draw and win an entry & accommodation package to the 2021 Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Marathon
How Does it Work?
Race Entry
Entry in to the challenge or race of your choice, a downloadable race bib, finishers certificate and live results.
Bling
All participants who complete their chosen challenge will earn a medal commissioned by Indigenous Marathon Project graduate and artist Shane Cook.
The cost of postage for medals is include in your entry fee, including international participants. All medals will be posted upon the completion of the event after April 11th.
Event Discount
Beyond the satisfaction of completing the event, all participants who complete each challenge will receive access to event discounts to some of our partner events. These discounts will be provided at the conclusion of the event. Events include the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival, Great Ocean Road Running Festival, Hobart Run the Bridge, Westpac City 2 Bay, Fremantle Running Festival & NT City 2 Surf. This is a potential saving of $125 on entry in 2021; what's not to like about that?
All entrants will also go into the draw to win two nights accommodation and an entry into the race of their choice at the 2021 Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Marathon.
ASICS Giveaway
Run out of 2020 and into Run Australia 2021 with a new pair of ASICS!! Any participant who signs up to take part in Run Australia between the 22nd December - 15 January 2021 will go in the draw to win 1 of 8 pairs of ASICS X GEL-NIMBUS 23 model (valued at $240.00). 8 winners will be chosen at random on the 16th January 2021.
