Recueillir des fonds pour l’organisme Breaking the Silence - Walking for Wilf

In 2022 we lost a pillar of our Breaking the Silence (BTS) community when Wilf Bean, life partner of BTS founder Kathryn Anderson, passed away.

In 2023 we now plan to honor his work and love of this event by dedicating all the moving parts to him.

This annual event has become an important fun!raiser for Breaking the Silence.

Breaking the Silence is a Maritimes-based network of volunteers acting in solidarity with Guatemalans in the struggle for political, social and economic justice. We undertake advocacy campaigns; organize delegations to Guatemala; send volunteers and human rights accompaniers; promote fairly-traded coffee; and raise awareness through speaking tours by Guatemalans.

We respond to needs defined by our partners. Our relationships are built on friendship, sharing, and dialogue as we work, learn, and grow together.
