Our story…

YMCA BC will be cheering loud and proud as you set out on a journey to run for your “why” in the 2024 BMO Marathon. 


Together, we are here to support you in achieving your running goals while fundraising for our life enhancing programs, across 50 communities throughout BC.  Join us and register as a Y Charity Runner, today!  There is a distance for most everyone - 8km, Half Marathon or Full Marathon.


Why run? Well, we all have a why? “For me, it’s seeing the kids’ big smiles in our Y Child Care Centres. It fills my heart!  It’s also the Newcomers I have met and had the pleasure of getting to know, that have found family through the Y. The best!  These are just a couple of examples of MY WHY!”  Leanna Dunn, Annual Giving Coordinator, YMCA BC.
