The Canadian Horse Heritage and Preservation Society welcomes both Canadian horse owners and breed admirers.
While a CHHAPS membership is not required to participate in the CHHAPS Challenge, interested participants are encouraged to join. Current members are emailed a discount code, giving them $10 off their registration for "100 Hours in 100 Days".
Enjoy the Benefits of a CHHAPS Membership:
- Earn certificates and medals in the CHHAPS Versatility and Performance Awards Program.
- Submit photos of your Canadian horse for potential use on the new CHHAPS website or in future event marketing, (perhaps even our next Race Roster page)!
- Participate in CHHAPS sponsored breed demos, shows or other events.
- Apply for the CHHAPS Individual Grant, which provides financial assistance to a qualified Canadian owner to use towards the costs of attending high visibility shows, clinics or events.
- Apply for a CHHAPS Sponsorship, which provides financial support to members interested in coordinating an educational breed promotion at a large equine expo or agricultural event, (i.e. Canadian horse demo/booth).
- Receive the CHHAPS newsletter (emailed).
- Connect with fellow members in our private CHHAPS Facebook group.
- Vote in the annual CHHAPS AGM (Regular membership)
Annual membership supports CHHAPS' efforts in promoting the endangered Canadian horse at equine expositions and agricultural fairs in Canada and the US. Every cent is appreciated and helps us spread the word about this versatile Heritage breed!
