Participant Cancellation:
Before May 31, 2024 - If a registered participant is unable to start the 100 Hours in 100 Days challenge, they may request a refund from the Challenge Coordinator on or before May 31, 2024. A refund will be issued, less a processing fee. The processing fee is equal to 6.99% of their paid registration amount plus $1.99. Notify the Challenge Coordinator at Challenge@chhaps.ca
After June 1, 2024 - All paid registrations are considered non-refundable. If, during the challenge, your horse has a lameness or injury, you may still track hours. Remember, mounted activities are not required and caring for your horse counts! For example: hand-walking, grooming, cold-hosing, applying first-aid or changing bandages is all part of being a good steward for your horse and strengthening the relationship with your equine friend.
Virtual events, such as the CHHAPS Challenge: 100 Hours in 100 Days, are not weather dependent and will proceed without risk of cancellation due to weather.
