Our story…

ABCCM Transformation Village provides up to 100 beds of transitional housing for homeless women, mothers with children, and Veterans, transforming lives through four developmental phases called Steps to Success.

TrV’s program is expanding with a new 36-bed Safe Haven, set to open in the Spring of 2025. This 24/7 facility will provide emergency shelter and support services for women and children affected by Hurricane Helene and homelessness, increasing capacity from 25 overnight winter beds to year-round support.

Safe Haven will offer meals, health care, mental health services, job training and housing assistance, with staff trained in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention

Description

Transformation Village Runners for Hope team is running to raise money for the women and children in transitional housing at ABCCM Transformation Village. Transformation Village is a place where homeless women (including veterans) and their children find hope, healing, health and a home. Each woman is provided basic needs, case management, access to education, health care, and life skills classes. 8 out of 10 residents who successfully complete our program leave with stable income, housing, and never return to homelessness.  Our supporters and volunteers make this miraculous program possible, changing the lives of hundreds of women every year.
