Mentor North

Mentor North's mission is to celebrate youth and support their families through one-on-one, community based mentoring. Our programs match Twin Ports youth between the ages of 7 and 17 with carefully screened and trained volunteers based on each individual youth's interests and goals. Our programming also promotes community engagement, fostering new connections across neighborhoods, generations and experiences. Youth share that time spent with their mentors helps them feel calmer, gives them a chance to try new things, and boosts their confidence. Mentoring is one of the most effective ways to help our youth identify and unlock all of their unique strengths so that both they and their communities can thrive.
