Plymouth County Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team
Mission Statement:
The Plymouth County CISM Team is dedicated to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of first responders by providing critical peer support, crisis intervention, and mental health resources. Our mission is to ensure that police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and dispatchers have access to the care they need to process the stress and trauma of their work.
Through education, early intervention, and a network of trained peers, we strive to reduce the long-term impact of critical incidents, promote resilience, and foster a culture where seeking help is encouraged and accessible. We believe that taking care of those who protect our communities is not just important—it’s essential.
