Our story…
The picture above is Moving Forward Inc. new location, we hope to be move in during the month of July. Our building in West Barnstable will enable the expansion of activities for our members while staying in compliance with remaining COVID-19 restrictions.
Moving Forward takes pride in ensuring our members are out in and part of the community every single day, we remain active through physical activities and our members have a place they consider a home away from home.
Our Moving Forward Falmouth Road Race Team is made up a of a variety of supporters, (members, parents, nurses, therapists, aunts, parents, etc.) who have graciously signed on to raise funds to support the creation of fabulous outdoor meeting spaces, a basketball court, gardening area, walking trails etc. Pictures of our new space are on our Facebook page, like our page and follow us along our journey! Description
Moving Forward’s purpose is to provide Day and Employment Services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, social anxiety, learning disabilities, and mild intellectual disabilities, transition to greater independence. This is a truly special organization, intentionally designed to aid individuals who can easily be lost in a big pond. Care and respect are the basic principles for staff at Moving Forward. Members travel daily to Hyannis from all over the Cape to attend this wonderful program.
