The BlackToe Holiday 10k has a flat and fast course, making it a perfect final race of the season for elite runners.
Please note that the window to submit applications closed on November 1st, 2025 and our elite field is now full.
Qualifying Standards:
Men: 32:30
Women: 38:30
Non-Binary: 38:30
Please note, any qualifying time must be from a race no earlier than January 1st, 2024. If you are submitting a Sporting Life 10km time, please ensure your result is 30 seconds faster than the standard noted above.
Qualifying Standards — Master's Category (Age 40 or above):
Men: 35:00
Women: 40:00
Non-Binary: 40:00
Please note, any qualifying time must be from a race no earlier than January 1st, 2024.
Gender Category Policy
We strive to make our race welcoming and inclusive for all participants. For the purposes of prize eligibility, our event currently offers two gender categories: male and female. Non-binary participants are welcome to compete in the category they feel most comfortable with. Those who do not identify strictly as male or female may opt into the female category for prize consideration.
We recognize that gender is diverse and complex, and we are committed to ongoing conversations and improvements in how we support all athletes.

We're pleased to announce that the BlackToe Holiday 10k is an Athletics Ontario Sanctioned Race event. As such, you can be assured that technical course operations will be executed by a professional race management team following the latest prescribed best practices in North America. The BlackToe Holiday 10k will also be Athletics Canada-certified this year — check back soon for more details!
