Awards and Prizes
At the BlackToe Holiday 10k, we don't just make a difference in the community by fundraising — we also like to run fast. We'll have tons of awesome prizes to give away, so lace up your fastest shoes and get ready to rip. Whether you're an individual participant or part of a team, these awards will keep you pushing through that final stretch to the finish line. Let the competition begin!
Race Awards & Categories
Overall Fastest Times
We will be awarding 1st–5th place prizes for men and women.
1st Place: $500 cash prize plus a two-night stay at the Fairmont Royal York in a one-bedroom suite, with breakfast for two.
2nd Place: $400 cash prize.
3rd Place: $300 cash prize.
4th Place: $100 cash prize.
5th Place: $75 cash prize.
Course Record Bonus: Any winning athlete who also breaks the current BlackToe 10k course record is eligible for a $250 course record bonus.

Overall Masters Awards
1st Place: $200 BlackToe Gift Card
2nd Place: $100 BlackToe Gift Card

Age Group Awards
Back by popular demand! Our "I Podiumed At The Holiday 10k" mugs will be provided for all runners who place first, second, or third in their age group, including our speediest runners in our 1k Kids' Race!
We'll be awarding the following age groups: 19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+ for the 10k race, as well as 8 and under and 9–12 for the 1k race.
Gender Category Policy
We strive to make our race welcoming and inclusive for all participants. For the purposes of prize eligibility, our event currently offers two gender categories: male and female. Non-binary participants are welcome to compete in the category they feel most comfortable with. Those who do not identify strictly as male or female may opt into the female category for prize consideration.
We recognize that gender is diverse and complex, and we are committed to ongoing conversations and improvements in how we support all athletes.
PB Prizes
PB Awards are BACK! If you aren't running towards the podium, we have a goal for you to chase! If you set a personal best in the 10k race, we will have a special prize for you. Enter your current PB during registration to qualify.
Every Runner Celebrated
The last runner across the line is just as important as the first across the line, and we want to recognize their efforts too! Last across the line before the official close of the course will receive a $100 BlackToe Gift Card and a pair of ASICS shoes!
