The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), founded in 1987, is a national organization dedicated to preventing suicide and supporting those affected. AFSP funds research, educates the public, advocates for mental health policies, and provides support for survivors, fostering a culture that prioritizes mental health and suicide prevention.
