Raise money for Cancer Champions

When Jen Miramontes’ mother was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, the doctors told her to drink a well known “nutrition beverage”, but after one look at the chemical-laden ingredient list, Jen knew there had to be a better way.

Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be any readily available resources for nutrition and fitness advice during cancer treatment. Jen started figuring out how to support her mother during treatment, and while Jen didn’t know it yet, the seed for Cancer Champions was planted.

Fast forward about a decade: Jen met Ann Murray Paige at a mutual friend’s barbeque. Instantly bonded by their New England roots, Ann turned to Jen’s expertise as a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist as she battled metastatic breast cancer. Experiencing first-hand the benefits of working with an expert, Ann tasked Jen with finding a way to serve the larger cancer community through fitness and overall wellness.

Jen Miramontes founded Cancer Champions as a way to serve patients and survivors at any point during their personal cancer journey. Today, the program is a non-profit and serves the cancer community worldwide. With certified experts in the fields of nutrition, fitness, and mindfulness, Cancer Champions supports the whole cancer patient at every point of the journey.
