Most everything is better done with friends - especially swimming. Put a team together and lean into the camaraderie, training support and friendly competition to win an awesome prize if your team is top fundraiser! Teams can be from 2-4 swimmers.
SwimBowen Team FAQ's
Q: Can team members swim different distances?
A: Yes! A team can be made up of both 1500 & 750 swimmers.
Q: How are individual team members fundraising totals recorded?
A: Each team member has their own page and individual fundraising total that is combined with their team's total.
Q: Can an individual team member still be eligible for SwimBowen's Grand Prize?
A: Yes! Any top fundraising swimmer - whether a team member or not - is eligible for the Grand Prize.
Team Registration Steps:
1. Choose a team captain, the person who will be first to register for the event.
2. When registering individually, the captain will be given the option of creating a team, joining one, or skipping the team option.
3. Your Team Captain should choose Create new team and will be given steps to follow to name the team and later get the team join link to share with the rest of the team members.
4. Team members use the team join link from the captain to complete their individual registration, which will send them directly with the team pre-selected to add their name to the list. Alternatively, they can select Add to another existing team and locate the team name in the dropdown.
