The Pittsburgh Project

Raise money for The Pittsburgh Project

The Pittsburgh Project is a Christian nonprofit community development organization, with a 40 year history of service through investment in future leaders. Located on Pittsburgh’s Northside, TPP operates a progressive series of youth Out-of-School-Time Programs including After-School and Summer Day Camp.

Our Vision: That Pittsburgh will be called a City of Truth, where once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets each with cane in hand because of age, and where the city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there (adapted from Zechariah 8:4-5).

Our Purpose: We achieve this vision by sharing hope, empowering youth, and building community.

Because of your support, last year we were able to:

  • Serve 223 K-12 students through Out-of-School Time Programs
  • Spend over 95,000 hours learning electives like robotics, art, cooking, and more
  • Provide 9,493 meals to students
  • Complete 5,880 student community service hours
