As a nonprofit organization, we provide care to everyone in need, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay—a promise we’ve kept for more than 40 years and one that continues to guide every transport, every decision, and every member of our team. Each year, we provide over $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring 0 patients are ever turned away.

Boston MedFlight brings the expertise and resources of a hospital intensive care unit (ICU) directly to patients—wherever they are and whenever we’re needed. Whether at the scene of an emergency or transferring a patient between hospitals, our teams ensure seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most critical moments of a person’s life.
