New Release | Estimated Read time – 1:18

We’ve recently released various updates to the results platform, allowing you to customize finisher certificates even further, speed up your race creation process, and set up column visibility with ease.

Let’s dive further into what’s new:

New merge tags for finisher certificates

Our advanced customization tool just got even more advanced. You can customize finisher certificates even further using the following types of data:

  • Custom column data – Any data mapped to a custom column that has been pre-set in the timer dashboard.
  • Segment data – information for any segment in applicable races such as overall/gender or sex/division placement, split time, pace, distance, participant names

Pro tip: Pulling in participant names from your segment data is a great way to display the names of additional team members. This works great for showing team results, especially if you are hosting a relay race!

To insert this data onto your finisher certificate, simply open up the merge tag dropdown and select the data you’d like to pull in!

Duplicate any race with ease

Set up multiple races using similar settings within seconds. With our updated race duplication functionality, you can now duplicate any race within any race type. This covers structured, unstructured, virtual races, and virtual challenges. You can easily reproduce column settings and segments without having to manually check off the settings for each race every time a new one is created.

Set column visibility settings on import

Now, instead of editing the display settings of your results after you’ve imported them, you will be able to define the visibility settings and column header names during a results import!

Race Roster

At our core, we are event organizers and athletes serving event organizers and athletes. Race Roster was founded by a group of friends with combined interests in running, technology, and event management. After organizing their own 10K in 2010, it was very apparent that the running industry was in dire need of better technology. Since May of 2012, Race Roster has partnered with over 4,000 organizers to grow, manage and execute on race day!
