COMING SOON – Race Roster and the ASICS Runkeeper™ app will be introducing some exciting enhancements to the virtual event experience. Our goal is to help you deliver an end-to-end virtual event experience to your participants like no other.
Let’s take a look at what enhancements are coming your way for mid-May:
Quick access to the ASICS Runkeeper™ app from Race Roster
Once a participant has registered for your event, a ‘start virtual run’ button will appear on their participant dashboard, taking them directly into the ASICS Runkeeper™ app. Your event’s unique ‘start run’ screen will automatically be displayed and all they will need to do is tap ‘start’!
If the participant has not already downloaded the ASICS Runkeeper™ app, they will be directed to the appropriate app download page based on their mobile device. Once the app has been installed, the participant will be prompted to create an account before being automatically directed to your event’s run screen.
A seamless flow for participants registered for multiple events
We believe it’s important to provide a smooth virtual event flow for every scenario. If the participant has registered for multiple virtual events, they will be asked to select the event they’d like to complete prior to starting their run.
Sharable ‘deep link’ for easy communication
Communication is key when it comes to delivering a quality virtual event experience. You can use Race Roster’s email campaign tool to send your participants an email that includes a dynamic link – known as a ‘deep link’ – to the ASICS Runkeeper™ app. This link will take them through the same quick-and-easy flow as outlined above.
The provided ‘deep link’ will guide your participants to your specific ‘start run’ page for your event – whether they are already a user of the ASICS Runkeeper™ app or still need to install it.
Results – now posted automatically!
One of the most requested enhancements was to automatically and effortlessly post results to Race Roster. Now, once a participant has completed your event and saved their activity, they will be shown confirmation that their time has been automatically posted on your event’s results page! Soon after, they will receive an email with a link to view their result and finisher certificate.
Incredibly simple integration process
To integrate your event with the ASICS Runkeeper™ app, you simply need to visit your results management page on Race Roster to edit an existing race or create a new one.
Next, select ‘Virtual’ as the event category, and choose ‘Runkeeper™ app enabled’ as the virtual event sub-category. Once enabled, you will be able to share the deep link with your participants and everything is set to go!
We cannot wait to introduce these enhancements mid-May. If you have any questions regarding these upcoming enhancements, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at director@raceroster.com.
