New Release | Estimated Read time – 1:24
Last year, we released our Live Predictive Tracking feature, which allows spectators to track their loved ones on a race course by utilizing a participant’s split times to predict their pace, position on the course, and finish time.
Learn more about our predictive tracking feature
With our newest update, events with and without splits can utilize our predictive tracking technology!
What’s new?
We’ve expanded our predictive tracking features to allow more races to engage spectators on a new level, and interact with a new demographic! Now, races of different distances and formats have the opportunity to utilize our predictive tracking, with our newest feature: tracking based on estimated finish time.
Host a short-distance, or an event without splits? The mapping and following functions of our Live Predictive Tracking feature can now be used based solely on registrants’ estimated finish time, so spectators can track their loved one’s progress based on the best information available!
Multiple ways to predict a finish time
This latest update provides events and Timers flexibility to use our live predictive tracking technology based on durations outside of just estimated finish time as well! For example, predictive tracking could be based on a participant’s goal time, or personal-best time – just as long as the total duration, and results information are provided by the timing team.
Get started
If you’re an Event Organizer who isn’t utilizing Live Predictive Tracking at your event, consider asking a question within your event’s registration process, and reach out to your timer to talk about their preferred data for the most accurate estimated finish time.
Did you know?
Timers, Live Predictive Tracking can now be utilized for practically any race distance and format, so encourage your non-segmented races to start collecting estimated finish time within their registration process!
