We’ve expanded kiosk features for your onsite registration!

Our team has been working behind the scenes to bring our kiosk registration technology in alignment with our more expansive core registration features.

These expanded features can help make the onsite registration experience easier, and more accessible for participants, while providing you flexible onsite set-up options to solve the unique needs of your event.

We’ve highlighted eight onsite registration enhancements included in this update that will help elevate your next onsite experience:

1. Branding

Bring more of your event’s unique look & feel to your kiosk registration with our branding updates! The background and heading colours from your event page will now carry over to your kiosk registration, creating brand consistency between registration experiences.

2. Kiosk registrations are now translatable

Make onsite registration more accessible with language options! Give your participants the option to select their preferred language from the ones enabled in your event settings, and have the kiosk registration form translated to your participants desired language.

3. Bundle registration options now available

Save your participants time and offer them the opportunity to register for multiple sub-events in one registration! Just as participants can register for a bundle of sub-events in a single registration in the core registration process, participants can now register for bundled events onsite at your packet pick-up and event day.

4. New USAT integrated kiosk registrations

You can now choose to enable our USAT integration feature for your onsite registrations! This means that you can require participants to enter their USAT membership details when registering onsite. For participants that don’t have an existing USAT membership, one can be purchased during their onsite registration.

5. Option to purchase Gift registrations

You can now offer the option for participants to purchase a gift registration through the kiosk registration process! This is a great solution for large groups, or corporate registrations taking place onsite, or when completing onsite registrations at other event expos!

6. Expanded waiver settings

We’ve expanded our kiosk waiver technology with two new features! Now, allow registrants to sign a waiver by typing their name into the Kiosk screen, and force participants to scroll through the form before signing the waiver form.

7. Individual option to donate in multi-participant registrations

Give each participant the option to add a donation! Kiosk registrations will now allow for a donation to be accepted from each person registered within a single transaction, rather than just one. Additionally, mandatory donations and minimum donation amounts (for both general donations and registration donations) will now be applied to any kiosk registrations.

8. Optional purchase protection for participants

If your organization collects registrations at other event expos, you’ll now be able to give your registrants the option to protect their event purchase! Now, offer participants registering onsite the option to purchase protection that will cover the cost of their registration should they be unable to make your event due to a number of unexpected reasons.

Ready to see our new onsite kiosk
registration features in action?

Within your onsite settings, you’ll now be provided the option to try out our beta Kiosk! This opt-in will give you the option to test our newest kiosk features, with an avenue to provide our team feedback, or continue using your existing version of kiosk.

If you choose to enable our newest beta version of Kiosk, you’ll have options to enable gifts, USAT, and RegShield in your kiosk registration. Bundles will now also be an available sub-event selection within your kiosk registration settings. Your other core registration settings will apply to any features enabled in your kiosk registration, so there are no other manual changes required from you! This means that updates made to donations, branding, and translations within your core registration settings, will automatically be reflected within your Kiosk registration, ensuring consistency between the two registration processes.

Race Roster

At our core, we are event organizers and athletes serving event organizers and athletes. Race Roster was founded by a group of friends with combined interests in running, technology, and event management. After organizing their own 10K in 2010, it was very apparent that the running industry was in dire need of better technology. Since May of 2012, Race Roster has partnered with over 4,000 organizers to grow, manage and execute on race day!
