Our Story...
"Empowering Life Through Sustainable Clean Water" - Tanzania Life Project (TLP) has been a registered 501(c)(3) since 2005, with an all-volunteer staff in the U.S. Our primary mission is to enhance the health and well-being of remote Tanzanian communities while empowering women and girls to overcome the societal barriers that limit their opportunities. To achieve this, we partner with villages of 5,000+ people to implement sustainable, community-led clean water and hygiene initiatives. Providing a local, sustainable source of clean water serves as the foundation for launching our broader programs of hygiene and empowerment education.

Description
Our Tanzania Life Project team members are running (and/or walking) races as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.
Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Together through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.
Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities. That's creating lasting impact!
Join our team or donate to support a runner and be part of something bigger than the race.
