Troy Schooley

Troy Schooley joined P3R in 2013 and has doubled the size of the sponsorships portfolio across a series of events, including the DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, the Fleet Feet Liberty Mile, and the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler. Under his direction, his team has signed multi-year sponsorship renewals with national brands, including DICK’S Sporting Goods, UPMC Health Plan and FedEx Ground.

Shan Riggs

Vice President, Sponsorship & Brand Partnerships at the Hartford Marathon Foundation

Shan is Partner and Head of Sponsorship and Sales at Beatnik Marketing Group. Beatnik specializes in social media marketing and sponsorship sales, working with a wide variety of properties, brands and influencers. Shan has been in the running industry for well over a decade, working with dozens of the running events, running charities, and endurance sports sponsors of all sizes.

Andy Reilly

Founder, Eventgrow / Marketing

Andy Reilly is the founder of Eventgrow, an digital marketing company that helps marketers and event directors grow participation in their events through digital marketing. He cut his marketing teeth at The Active Network as a strategic account executive for some of the top endurance and experiential events in the United States, including The Color Run, Spartan Race, and The Electric Run.

Lennie Kwan

VP Customer Experience, CRM, Race Roster

Lennie has over thirteen years working in CRM, enterprise architecture, digital marketing, cloud computing and Salesforce. He has led large-scale transformations of B2B & B2C Sales, Service and Marketing implementations across the country and overseas as a Director & Chief Architect of CRM at a leading telecommunications company, TELUS, as well as a Director at Manulife / John Hancock in the Financial Services industry.

Christine Bowen

Vice President, Programming, Operations & Partnerships, Running USA

Christine joined Running USA in 2009 and during that tenure has more than doubled the size of the annual industry conference. The Running USA industry conference is now hailed as the largest gathering of endurance event professionals world wide, providing educational programming and sharing of best practices. Additionally, she is responsible for managing the organizations key partners, sponsorships, and the growth of education and networking in the sport internationally.

Alex Vander Hoeven

Founder, Race Roster

Alex started his career in Deloitte’s consulting practice working mainly on SAP implementations for large private and publicly owned companies. In 2010, Alex completed the MBA program at the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada, with a specialization in finance. After his MBA, he teamed up with a group of high school friends to organize Rock the Road 10K, which then led to the founding of Race Roster. Race Roster has grown to become one of the leading registration platforms in the endurance industry, working with over 4,000 races each year. Alex is an avid golfer who loves gadgets and technology. His 10k PB is 52:58.

Tanner Bell

Founder, Ragnar

Tanner co-founded Ragnar in 2004 as a single overnight running relay race with 262 participants. Today, more than 100,000 runners participate annually in 15 road relay races and 11 trail relay races. Tanner has been instrumental in the growth of Ragnar and continues to play an integral role in establishing Ragnar as one of the premier brands in endurance sports.

Tanner lives in Great Britain with his fantastic wife Kristin and four ridiculously cute children. He is an avid runner, cyclist, and skier (snow and water). And, he believes it is never too early or late to become a Ragnarian.

Chantelle Wilder

Founder, Race Roster

Chantelle is the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at Race Roster. Chantelle and her team work with over 4000 event organizers across North America with their largest markets being Ontario, California, Texas and Colorado. Chantelle recently returned to Ontario in 2014 after spending 7 years in Hawaii and more recently 4 years in Silicon Valley. Chantelle believes that interdepartmental communication is key to the success of executing any project and the overall efficiency of a business. All her free time is spent playing pirates with her two little gentlemen. Arrr!

Virgil Andrew

Consultant

Virgil was formerly Head of Commercial at Running Bug. He is now a consultant with clients ranging across Event Organisers, Not for profit, Tech and Running brands. A specialist in planning and managing event registration marketing campaigns, Virgil has extensive knowledge of how to drive sales using the latest digital marketing techniques. Having helped to launch many of the UK's largest mass participation running events, he has an insider view of how to leverage brand assets, leading to maximum awareness and increased ROI.

James Robinson

Chief Commercial Officer, Limelight Sports

James Robinson is the Chief Commercial Officer at Limelight Sports, the agency for the Active World. He has worked extensively in the participation sports sector and has headed up organisations on both the rights holders and agency sectors. He has been responsible for over 200 international events across triathlon, cycling, running and open water swimming.

Up until 2008, Robinson held various commercial roles at Great Run before joining Lagardère Sports as Director of International Marketing & Sales in Hamburg, Germany, where he Directed the World Triathlon Series. He then spent 5 years at WME-IMG initially as Managing Director, Mass Participation Sports EMEA before assuming the position of Global Head of Mass Participation Sports. In this role he oversaw over 60 annual events and was responsible for the creation and implementation of the agency’s global strategy for mass participation sports.

Heidi Swartz

Executive Director of The Cowtown Marathon, Fort Worth, Texas

Heidi has 24 years of experience working in the running industry. In its 42nd year with over 25,000 participants and seven races, The Cowtown Marathon has nearly tripled in size under Heidi’s direction and donates over a quarter of a million dollars annually to the local community. With a philanthropic mission and a well-run event come the fiscal responsibilities of bringing in both value-in-kind and cash sponsorship to keep costs low within the race organization. Heidi works with major corporations in areas of banking, news media outlets, healthcare, and many more.

Actively involved in her city’s health and prosperity, Heidi currently serves as secretary on the Board of Directors of “FitWorth,” the Mayor of Fort Worth’s healthy living initiative, serves on the Marketing Advisory Board for the Fort Worth Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and serves on the Running USA Board of Directors. Heidi is also a successful in-demand consultant for other race events in the DFW area, acting as an expert in race management and producing multiple events throughout the year.

Brandon Laan

VP of Sales, Race Roster

Brandon has been immersed in the endurance industry as an athlete, coach, and race director for the past 20 years. In his current role as VP of Sales, he is responsible for creating new business and developing strategic relationships across the endurance landscape.

Patrice Matamoros

Event Consultant

Patrice is a dynamic and determined executive who has built an incredible career focused on leveraging minimal resources, key talent, and ideas to realize success. After the Pittsburgh Marathon was cancelled in 2003, Patrice led the charge to relaunch the marathon in 2009, ultimately growing the race from an event with no runners, sponsors or staff to a nationally and internationally recognized marathon and weekend of seven events boasting more than 40,000 registrants, 50 sponsors, and a full-time staff of over 20 professionals.

Patrice earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She derives great joy from her passions: family, fitness and her community, and she strives to make a positive impact in the lives and experiences of those around her.
