Tanner co-founded Ragnar in 2004 as a single overnight running relay race with 262 participants. Today, more than 100,000 runners participate annually in 15 road relay races and 11 trail relay races. Tanner has been instrumental in the growth of Ragnar and continues to play an integral role in establishing Ragnar as one of the premier brands in endurance sports.
Tanner lives in Great Britain with his fantastic wife Kristin and four ridiculously cute children. He is an avid runner, cyclist, and skier (snow and water). And, he believes it is never too early or late to become a Ragnarian.

Up until 2008, Robinson held various commercial roles at Great Run before joining Lagardère Sports as Director of International Marketing & Sales in Hamburg, Germany, where he Directed the World Triathlon Series. He then spent 5 years at WME-IMG initially as Managing Director, Mass Participation Sports EMEA before assuming the position of Global Head of Mass Participation Sports. In this role he oversaw over 60 annual events and was responsible for the creation and implementation of the agency’s global strategy for mass participation sports.
Executive Director of The Cowtown Marathon, Fort Worth, Texas
Heidi has 24 years of experience working in the running industry. In its 42nd year with over 25,000 participants and seven races, The Cowtown Marathon has nearly tripled in size under Heidi’s direction and donates over a quarter of a million dollars annually to the local community. With a philanthropic mission and a well-run event come the fiscal responsibilities of bringing in both value-in-kind and cash sponsorship to keep costs low within the race organization. Heidi works with major corporations in areas of banking, news media outlets, healthcare, and many more.
Actively involved in her city’s health and prosperity, Heidi currently serves as secretary on the Board of Directors of “FitWorth,” the Mayor of Fort Worth’s healthy living initiative, serves on the Marketing Advisory Board for the Fort Worth Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and serves on the Running USA Board of Directors. Heidi is also a successful in-demand consultant for other race events in the DFW area, acting as an expert in race management and producing multiple events throughout the year.

Brandon has been immersed in the endurance industry as an athlete, coach, and race director for the past 20 years. In his current role as VP of Sales, he is responsible for creating new business and developing strategic relationships across the endurance landscape.
Patrice is a dynamic and determined executive who has built an incredible career focused on leveraging minimal resources, key talent, and ideas to realize success. After the Pittsburgh Marathon was cancelled in 2003, Patrice led the charge to relaunch the marathon in 2009, ultimately growing the race from an event with no runners, sponsors or staff to a nationally and internationally recognized marathon and weekend of seven events boasting more than 40,000 registrants, 50 sponsors, and a full-time staff of over 20 professionals.
Patrice earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She derives great joy from her passions: family, fitness and her community, and she strives to make a positive impact in the lives and experiences of those around her.
