Meghan Najera

Co-Owner,
RunFAR Racing Services

Meghan serves as Co-Owner of RunFAR Racing Services, Inc. based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. RunFAR is a full service timing and results company managing data and finish lines for over 200 events a year in and outside of Texas. Alongside her husband Raul, Meghan leads the production side of RunFAR and works with the largest events in Texas. Meghan has been an integral part of expanding RunFAR’s portfolio of customers and building partnerships. Meghan strongly believes successful events are as strong as their weakest vendor relationship.

Mike Schmitz

Managing Director of the Americas,
MYLAPS Sports Timing

Mike started at MYLAPS in 2017 but is a 16 year veteran of the running industry having previously worked in sales of bib numbers and then later as the President of Electric City Printing. During his career, Mike was also a member of the Board of Directors for Running USA. Prior to entering the industry Mike has always been a runner and competed for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville having earned All American Honors in Cross Country and was the school record holder in the Outdoor 10,000 meter run and Indoor Distance Medley Relay.

​Mike has been an avid fan and participant of sports and endurance events for as long as he can remember. Over the last fifteen years, Mike has aided in the success of programs across all endurance sports, with an emphasis in the running community. From managing relationships with the top endurance industry national governing bodies and organizations, to some of the most prestigious events in the world, he has actively worked with these organizations to help increase participation, manage their events and build communities. Mike truly understands events and what it takes to put on from the technology side of the business

Lonnie Somers

Lonnie has over 16 years of experience in producing, consulting, and timing/scoring mass participatory endurance sports events. Lonnie is also a recognized professional event announcer for many high-profile events. His background includes time at Disney, CPA and investment banking, radio, and experience creating an international non-profit. He’s been involved in hundreds of events. Before he began his work to bring everyone in the world into endurance sports, he had over 20 years of experience in various executive management, financial, accounting and operations roles from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

Soren Larson

Independent contractor

Soren Larson has been a race official since he began working track meets for the City of St. Paul at age 19. He went on to officiate cross country events, manage track meets, and coach at the Jr. High and High School level. He holds coaching certificates from USATF and the University of Minnesota, as well as an infrequently used degree in English. In the past year he has timed over 30 ski, tri, mountain bike, inline skate, and running races remotely. He has used his newfound free time to learn new programming languages, play music, and sleep in on Saturday and Sunday.
