Creating segments and curating a list of contacts for your organization has become easier than ever. If you need to create retention reports, secure more sponsors with compelling data, or even get ahead and get your segmented lists ready for Race Roster CRM’s upcoming email feature, our custom reporting feature is ready for you!
What are Custom Reports?
Think of Custom Reports as a generated list of contacts that are based on specific requirements, which you’ll see labeled as filters on Race Roster CRM. These lists can be generated both manually and automatically.
When would you require a manual report vs automatic report?
- Manual reports are great for single-use and capture data as of the date it was generated. They do not update with new contact data that meets the report’s criteria.
- Automatic reports require an initial setup and re-generate according to your chosen frequency, ensuring you always have the latest information. They automatically refresh to include new entries that meet the report’s criteria and exclude those that no longer qualify.
What can Custom Reports be used for?
There are three types of reports you can create on Race Roster CRM:
- Contact report – Build a segmented Contact list by adding custom filters.
- Contact registration report – Generate a detailed list of registrations per Contact.
- Contact retention report – Find Contacts who participated in years past, but haven’t signed up for your upcoming events.
1. Contact Report
Contact Reports offer a range of uses. You can generate reports for business insights, sponsorship data, mailing lists for targeted email communications, and more. Various filters are available to tailor the report to your specific needs.
For example, consider which information might be most impactful for you to present to a potential sponsor. Age, location, gender/sex could be key to securing a sponsorship, confirming your participant-base aligns with the sponsor’s target audience.
2. Contact Registration Report
How many of your participants are returning year after year? Who is consecutively attending all of your events? A contact registration report gives you a breakdown of each individual and every event within your organization that they’ve attended over the years.
This information can help you determine the right people to reach out to for help promoting your events—either by writing a testimonial or even becoming a brand ambassador for your organization!
3. Contact Retention Report
Want to see a list of people who have not yet registered this year, but have registered previously? Perhaps you have a brand new event, and you want to market it to the people who have participated in other events within your organization. Contact Retention Reports make this simple!
