Raise money for Tanzania Life Project

We believe the key to sustainable change is a holistic approach to improving the quality of life, which begins with clean water. We partner with village leaders to develop and execute a successful plan to provide water to that village. We then work with a local civil engineer to create the best approach.

Village volunteers collaborate to dig miles of trenches from the water source to the pump house and water distribution points located around the village. The process takes roughly 12 months, and an average project requires $275,000 - $300,000 for full funding.

Clean water provides improved quality of health, reduction in water-borne illnesses, and cleaner food sources. We work with local teams to assess the land, dig trenches, dig the bore hole, lay piping, construct the holding tank, and maintain the well.

Our Tanzania Life Project team is running (and/or walking) races as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.

Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.

Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities.  That's creating lasting impact!

Join our team or support a runner and be part of something bigger than the race.
